Welcome to my Blog!

Hi, my name is German I'm a Software Engineer from Argentina, currently living in the UK.

I've been in the industry for at least 15 years and I've been coding for fun even longer, which means, this is not the first time I start a blog. It's something many of us have done and abandoned at some point.

I'll be brief and try not to make this any longer than it needs to be, I'm trying to get back in the habit of writing and a fan of open source, I will use any excuse to try to self-host my own blog, this time I decided to give a static site generators a go and I will be trying out Pelican.

I've self-hosted Wordpress in the past and boy was that an experience I don't want to repeat, but that's a story for another time.

If I don't abandon this project, expect to read from my experience working on my hobby projects and what I learn along the way.
